Overview

The Klaipeda university was founded in 1991 and had 3 faculties. Now at university there are 5 faculties at which study 4500 students.

There are 118 three-cycle study programs providing the student with research-based modern knowledge and technological based on higher university education level and higher education qualification, develops fully educated, responsible, creative and entrepreneurial personality.

Accommodation

The international students of the Klaipeda university have a possibility of accommodation in one of two hostels of the Klaipeda university.

The first hostel is located at the address by Statibinink St. 43. The hostel is in the Southern part of the city, absolutely near Faculty of social sciences, in 25 minutes of a driving on public transport to the campus.

In each room there is a desk, a single bed, a case and a wash basin. On each floor – two bathrooms and two kitchens. In the hostel there is a self-service laundry.

One more hostel is to the address of Karklu St. 5. The hostel to be in a fine place – the downtown.

In the hostel can live 248 students, all 62 rooms here. On each floor there is a repaired kitchen, and in each room – all conveniences: shower, wash basin and toilet. In the hostel on Karklu St. – all rooms 4-seater. Each student has the personal space: 2-storeyed convenient bed, desk and case. It is possible to live in the 4-seater room together and three together (the price of the room will be already higher).

The price of housing depends about type of the room and number of the people living in the room.
The international students who are trained at the Klaipeda university can choose accommodation in the 2-seater, 3-seater or 4-seater room of the hostel.
The room price also depends on accommodation duration. After one month the monthly price of accommodation in the hostel falls by 20 percent.
