Overview

Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (EUAS) is a privately-owned institution of professional higher education. Keywords uniting our various curricula are entrepreneurship and creativity. We aim to provide our students with the skills, network and mindset for professional success and self-growth.

EUAS was established in 1992. We are the largest private university in Estonia. EUAS is a subsidiary of Mainor Group and the creative powerhouse behind Ülemiste City. We teach in three languages and are the alma mater for students from four continents.

TOP 5 REASONS TO CHOOSE EUAS

Among the many reasons for choosing Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (EUAS) five stand out.

  • EUAS is an international university with students from all over the world. Our students have a choice of studying in either Estonian, English or Russian. Our curricula are developed in sync with corporate partners across borders and our teaching staff hail from an international network of like-minded universities.
  • We are small but focused, keeping enrolment and the day-to-day bureaucracy to a minimum and our attention where it belongs - offering our students the best possible entrepreneurship training. Our 1600 students make us the market leader of private higher education in Estonia.
  • We are a university of entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs and for (future) entrepreneurs. At EUAS, we try to make people learn valuable lessons from others' successes as well as mistakes. We offer our students intense contact with the business world throughout their studies in the form of visiting lectures, regular informal meetups and internships. On average our graduates earn more than graduates from Tallinn University or University of Tartu, the large Estonian public universities.
  • We are located in Tallinn, one of Europe's startup hot spots with ever-enhancing opportunities to find the right team, shape the right product, raise funds and take off with your idea. For aspirations in an intrapreneurial career, look no further than our good neighbours and internship-partners from the various high-value industries at Ülemiste City the innovation campus dubbed "the Silicon Valley of the North".
  • Easily accessible and low-cost location. Estonia is well-connected to any part of the world and the living costs (accommodation, food, transportation) are much more reasonable than in Scandinavia and the UK for instance. It's all the world's opportunities with no hassle and all the more fun.
  • EUAS is a university for driven people who are after the next big thing.

Expenses

The cost of living in Estonia is quite affordable compared to the rest of the EU. The average monthly expenses for living (accommodation, transport, food and other necessities) can be estimated around 500 euros (for example if you live at the EUAS Student Hostel).

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Public transport (buses, trams and trolleys) is available for all students and free of charge in Tallinn (only for residents of Tallinn, including international students studying in Tallinn). You can find schedules pages and optimal route search here.

Taxi (depending on company): average starting fee from €1.9, each km from €0.6. We encourage you to use the Taxify app to order the closest licensed cab without any hassle.

Accommodation

We help every international student find suitable accommodation in Tallinn. "Great, but what's it going to cost?", you're probably wondering.

Our dormitory, EUAS Student Hostel, has 82 places that are reserved for foreign students. A place in a larger double room is available at EUR 250 a month (includes utilities). A place in a smaller (bunk bed) double room is available at EUR 200 a month (includes utilities).

EUAS Student Hostel is located in a three-floor building next to EUAS main building. Lecture halls, bus and tram stops to Tallinn city centre and Estonia's largest shopping mall are all within three minutes' walk. The facilities have been recently renovated.

We expect non-EU international students to stay at EUAS Student Hostel for at least their first semester (6 months). Should the hostel not have any vacancies or in any case after your first semester, you can also find an apartment for yourself or together with friends.

2-3 room apartments for rent in Tallinn are around 600 euros a month plus the utilities (100-300 euros a month depending on the size of the apartment, summer/winter etc). You can check it out for yourself at www.kv.ee or www.city24.ee.

During your admission process and before you arrive in Tallinn we'll help you find and book the type of accommodation that suits you.

Challenge life before it challenges you!

Welcome!
