Lithuanian Sports University (LSU), founded in 1934, is a specialised public higher education institution that has developed its unique traditions in sport, leisure and health sciences.
The LSU offers 19 degree study programmes at all three study cycles (8 undergraduate, 9 Master’s and 2 PhD), mainly in sport science, where studies, research and practice are closely interconnected. Among the LSU graduates, there are many distinguished scientists, world-renowned coaches, famous athletes, and prominent public figures.

Accommodation
The university offers students the hostel being in the campus, in 5 minutes from the downtown. The monthly rent makes 65 euros from the person. Also there is a deposit payment at a rate of 58 euros which is paid on arrivals and comes back at eviction. Students live on two in one room, there is an opportunity to live to one, on condition of surcharge of 65 euros and existence of free rooms.
Rooms are equipped with beds, a wardrobe, a table and chairs, also there is an Internet, the refrigerator, the microwave oven and the electric kettle. The hostel provides to the student all necessary sleeping accessories. Students buy kitchen ware. Kitchen and a bathroom to the hostel the general.
