Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) N. B. for non-EU/EFTA applicants: The gap since your completed Bachelor degree should not exceed five years. Admission to the studies will be competitive, and priority will be given to university graduates with degrees in economics, business, management, finance, and accounting, with preference given to candidates with at least one year of work experience. Applicants from other fields and college graduates must have accumulated at least 20 credits from fundamental economics study programme subjects, which they can acquire by choosing additional studies. This requirement does not apply to applicants under three years of relevant experience who submit a free-form certificate confirming their work tenure and position. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian / Lithuanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Overview
The objective of the programme is to educate high qualification systematically thinking specialists of economics who, applying wide scope recent knowledge on economics science as well as interdisciplinary research methods and modelling techniques, are able to analyse and creatively solve atypical economic problems under conditions of uncertainty at the enterprise, national and international levels.

A holder of the Master’s degree in Economics can work as the head specialist of economics, analyst or occupy executive’s position in business enterprises, banks, leasing companies, insurance companies, state institutions, financial brokerage companies.
