Overview
To prepare high college background physical
therapy specialists who independentlly or in the
rehabilitation team will render personal health
care service: personal functional and physical
status examination, movement and physical
modalities therapy, disability compensation,
health care, prevention, healthy lifestyle
promotion
and education.
Programme structure
The scope of study field‘s subjects is 133 credits
(including practises). Students are studying
study field‘s subjects: environment and human
safety, anatomy and physiology, morbid
anatomy and physiology, prompt assistance,
science of movement, basics of nursing and
patients lifting, general physical therapy and
functional diagnostics, applied scientific
research methodology, health education,
pharmacology, physical therapy techniques and
curative exercise, physical medicine and
rehabilitation, massage and physiotherapy,
physical therapy in surgery, traumatology and
orthopedics, physical therapy in internal
diseases, physical therapy in obstetrics,
gynecology and pediatrics, genetics,
ergonomics, physical therapy in neurology,
compensatory technologies, occupational
therapy, sports medicine, physical therapy in
geriatrics, introductory physical therapy
practice, I clinical physical therapy practice, II
clinical physical therapy practice, final physical
therapy practice.
Career opportunities
Graduates can work as physical therapist in the
health care, children with disability education,
orthopedic manufacture and hardware fitting,
health and rehabilitation service affording
institutions.
