Entry qualification

Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Bachelor or equivalent degree in one of these fields: Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Lithuanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. Applicants must upload education documents in original language, as well as translations into English. Diplomas and transcripts issued outside EU must be legalized with a legalization stamp or Apostille. Language requirements

English Accepted proof of proficiency: FCE or CAE, IELTS 6+ or TOEFL 79+ The following language certificates are accepted for study programmes taught in English: IELTS score: 6+, TOEFL score: 500 (paper based) or 60+ (iBT Internet-based test), Cambridge English exam: 173+, Pearson PTE Academic: 65+, LanguageCert IESOL B2, Duolingo English Test: 105+ or another language proficiency certificate equivalent to B2 CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). If your first language is English and/or if you have a university degree in English, you will be exempt from providing an English language test score.

Other requirements

A motivation letter must be added to your application. APPLICATION AND SELECTION REQUIREMENTS All applicants must take an entrance examination in Biochemistry. A successful applicant must answer at least half of the questions. The test is held online at the end of April / mid of June 2023. The exact date will be provided to the candidate individually. The syllabus of the examination can be provided upon request.

Overview

The goal of this programme is to deepen and broaden knowledge in biochemistry and related sciences as well as to understand the achievements and perspectives of biochemistry. Programme provides with research skills needed to know and understand modern methods and technologies necessary for creative development and implementation of scientific ideas.
